However, in a bid to present an unbiased and credible list of songs, I consulted the wedding Masters. I call them the wedding masters because, they are the brains behind most of the most eye-popping wedding set arrangements you see at weddings. They include the decors, the emcees, the DJs themselves, just to mention a few. Their opinions amongst other inquiries brought forth these top ten songs.

Meanwhile, I would be giving brevity of thoughts on only the top five songs on the list. It would also be fair to note that, these thoughts are not solely mine but on the collective opinion of many.

1. Can’t let you go – Sarkodie

The BET award-winning rapper upon releasing this tune for his wedding back in 2018, it caught fire from the get-go through to this year too. Indisputably, it emerged atop of the list of top ten wedding songs owing to the fact that it was played and was often on rewind at most weddings within the year under review. Many others including myself could attest to it that, it was usually the couples’ entrance tune at countless wedding receptions. It was again noted as one of the most requested songs by the couple during these weddings.

The King of high vocal prowess, King Promise did not fail to add his usual charming touch to this tune he featured the legendary highlife act, Kwadwo Antwi on. The Lynx entertainment brothers, Kuami Eugene and Kidi got many singing along their ‘Ohemaa’ tune and at weddings, it was no different. Many could relate to the song, like the one about the love between a man and a queen just as the title of the song, ‘Ohemaa’ which means queen suggested. Moreover, that beautiful composition about love caught the hearts of many and newlyweds could not help but dance to the vibe of this beautiful piece too.
