The 2020 edition of the Soundcity MVP Award Festival hosted by Bonang Matheba, came off at the Eko Hotel, Lagos.

The red carpet was graced by numerous glamorous celebrity looks and the stage too was studded by great performances. Acts rocking the stage included African big names Davido, Stonebwoy, Tiwa Savage, Diamond Platinumz, Tekno, others as well as new acts, Joeboy and Rema.

Moreover, self-acclaimed African giant, Burna Boy won big, winning a couple of awards on the night. DopeNation won Best Duo for Ghana and Rema too outcompeted others to win the nod for the Best new act.
