There is clearly lots of excitement and love in the air as Ghana’s finest rapper, Sarkodie celebrates his birthday today. The usual shakeup on social media and the flood of birthday wishes that characterizes the rapper’s special day was again on another level.
However, one very astonishing part of this year’s celebration is that it is now going to include dancehall act, Shatta Wale. Yes, Shatta Wale will be part of this year’s birthday celebration of Sarkodie. You sure must be wondering how come these two musical acts, who were recently at each other’s throats are suddenly joining hands in this big celebration.
Well, this is all can say about it for now. The multiple BET Award winner, Sarkodie was on the radio this morning with Andy Dosty. According to him, he just answered the call for the interview immediately after waking up. It was quite evident from his voice, it was so deep. However, during the course of the interview, Andy Dosty told Sarkodie he had a surprise for him.
True to Andy’s words, Shatta Wale was on the line to surprise Sarkodie. Quite a surprise right? Yes, that was our perception but from their conversation, it seemed they really had no feud ongoing between them. So, it was more of a surprise to us the listeners than to Sarkodie.

Meanwhile, when Andy Dosty inquired from them why do they seem to always be at longer heads. Shatta Wale replied, revealing that they are mostly just pretending.
“Me and Sarkodie we are actress o. aaa, we are actresses. He is my brother and everything, this is how we talk every day o. This is our talk”
Their conversation was more like a jovial one with one’s brother, judging from Shatta Wale’s own words.
Furthermore, Shatta Wale again disclosed that since it is his ‘Boss’, Sarkodie‘s birthday today, he is fully joining him in the celebration. In addition, he would be dropping by at his house for them to continue the celebration. However, Sarkodie jokingly replied to Shatta stating that he should come along with is birthday present but for the scare of Covid-19, he should just throw it over his gate for him to pick it.
