Funny Face and Lilwin’s clash disrupts UTV, apologies rendered as they reunite
Lilwin, Nana Ama McBrown and Funny Face

Guests on last Saturday’s edition of UTV’s entertainment discussion, United Showbiz were comic actors Funny Face and Lilwin, along with Bulldog and Counselor Odum Atta. One unusual thing about the show yesternight was that the special guests, Funny Face and Lilwin just like Sista Afia and Freda Rhymz, were unannounced.

However, when the show kick-started, it was obvious why they could not disclose to the viewing public via a flier, the special guests. Thus, maybe one of them (Funny Face or Lilwin) would have refused to turn up. The show began on quite a bad note because the atmosphere was already headed up with anger due to incidents before they came on air.

Moreover, the host, Nana Ama McBrown even admitted that there was a lot of tension on the set in her opening statements of the show. Which makes it obvious that prior to the live telecast, Funny Face and Lilwin were at each other’s throats.

Funny Face and Lilwin’s clash

The situation even became more obvious when Funny Face was asked his first question. His temper seemed to have still been so high from his fierce encounter with Lilwin before the show started. Therefore, it was no surprise as soon as he began talking, he had to take swipes at Lilwin, which resulted in their first heated argument on air. For which reason, UTV had to halt the live telecast.

Meanwhile, after minutes of trying to bring both of them to book, they went live again. However, after a few minutes, they had to cut the live telecast again because both actors almost became violent again.

The situation of going on and off-air due to Funny Face and Lilwin was repetitive to the extent that, the executive producer had to call Funny Face off the set, whilst Lilwin gave his submission. Later, Funny Face returned much calmer, after his talk with Fada Dickson and he gave his submission too.

As they reunite

From then, though they still flared-up even to the extent of Funny Face attempting to hit Lilwin, but [according to Funny Face himself] mistakingly hit Bulldog, calm was restored. The little calm they managed to sustain eventually turned the interview into a mini funfair, as both Lilwin and Funny Face helped perform and dance to each other’s songs on air.

Furthermore, this interesting development finally led to a point were both actors decided to let go of their differences, had a handshake and hugged. Just as though nothing had happened between them, Funny face and Lilwin after rendering an apology were now literally making fun of themselves.

Funny face and Lilwin demonstrated multiple times during the live interview that they had reunited. Moreover, Lilwin even added his voice to Funny Face’s plea that his long time best friend, Adebayor should follow him again on Instagram. Lilwin was forced to present his plea in English. How funny right?

Finally, the show came to a successful end in the beautiful reunion of Funny Face and Lilwin.
