She got many super addicted to her back to back hits. But upon promising she was going to make us sing her name, she suddenly brought it all to a halt.
The ‘Sing my name’ super talented singer, MzVee went off the music scene for a year. But has finally announced a comeback from her music hiatus.
She shockingly revealed, she had to take a break from music because she was in a state of depression. She was depressed for two years, thus 2017 and 2018. So she had to take some time off for herself, to find and rejuvenate herself.
Speaking to Berla Mundi on TV3 New Day, the dancehall diva disclosed, the only one she could talk to was Efya. She also had to draw closer to her family and now, she goes to church even more now.

MzVee further noted, though she was seen traveling around the world during the time, she was also recording countless songs on the side.
Moreover, she happily announced she would be releasing more songs as well as a couple of albums this year. However, she is now set to release a reggae single this Thursday, dubbed ‘Sheriff’.

Answering to what is next after ‘Sheriff’, she further revealed:
Ohh, too much jamming this year. I’m going to be releasing more songs, more videos and hopefully a concert. But I’m trying to release two albums this year
Delving deep into the albums, she noted:
I’ll put an album together for reggae/dancehall and then I’ll do Afrobeats.
