The third edition of the annual 3 Music Awards will be coming off this Saturday, May 2 despite the coronavirus pandemic. This comes right after the ban on social gathering was extended for two more weeks. The organizers still want to push through with the event. However, they will be holding it as a virtual event.
Dubbed Live Virtual Music Awards, the awards will take place at the premises of Joy Prime with a very limited number of people excluding any audience. It will broadcast live on Joy Prime and the official social media handles of the scheme, Facebook and Instagram on 3MUSIC and 3MUSICAWARDS respectively. The 2020 edition of the 3 Music Awards, also dubbed the Stay Home Edition, will be hosted by Naa Ashorkor and Jay Foley.
Moreover, the virtual awards night will also see performances from Kidi, Kweku Smoke, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Dope Nation, Cina Soul, Krymi Mr. Drew, Bosom P-Yung and Lord Paper.
