The third edition of the highly prestigious music awards scheme, 3 Music Awards happened at the Fantasy Studios, Accra. First in history for an awards event to be held in Ghana with no live audience, the awards event came off as a virtual event.
The awards night was dubbed the Stay At Home Edition, and it was such an incredible experience watching from home. Naa Ashorkor and Jay Foley were the hosts. The night saw performances from some of Ghana’s top musical acts. Kidi opened the show with a sweet performance with the sensational Cina Soul.

Other performers were Bosom P-Yung, Kweku Smoke, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Camidoh, Jupitar, Gasmila, and climaxed by Fameye, Krymi, and Mr. Drew. Also, OB Amponsah and Clemento Suarez came through with rib-cracking comedy on Flava Room, which added a very hilarious touch to the show.
Meanwhile, as the night came to a close BET award-winner, Sarkodie emerged atop the list of winners with a total of five awards. He also got credit for his song, ‘Saara’ which got Efya the female vocalist of the year. Moreover, Kofi Kinaata took the biggest award for the night, Song of the year award with his ‘Things Fall Apart’ song.
