Fantana recently released a song titled Backstabber. It contained lyrics like: “Queen backstabber, a long time me a know you are a pretender. To pull me down be your agenda…”
Which basically means queen stabber, I already knew for a long time you were a pretender. You have an agenda to pull me down… You must have wondered who those lines were directed at right? Well, it is now crystal clear.
In a build-up to this, Fantana in an interview with Regina Van Helvert on GhOne TV’s Rhythmz Live made certain statements. She was answering a question about a post she made previously regarding Ghanaian female acts.

So in a bid to clarify what she meant in that post. That is, stating that only a handful of them(female acts) are International, the rest(including herself) are local champions, she called out Wendy Shay. Fantana disclosed that Efya, Becca, and Wiyaala are the only female International acts from Ghana.
When asked about Wendy Shay, she stated on record that she is also a local champion. However, Fantana explained that she was not saying so because she disliked Wendy, but the truth was that Wendy Shay has not achieved anything outside Ghana.
Meanwhile, Wendy Shay had to react to Fantana’s claims in a recent post on Instagram. She posted:
This basically meant that some musicians(Fantana) only know how to make it into the news but not how to make hit songs. Also, Wendy Shay insulted Fantana’s big teeth in the German caption in her post.
Fantana’s Reply
Nevertheless, Fantana upon seeing Wendy’s post did not take things lying. She swiftly replied in equal measure. She went as far as saying Wendy is super ugly and even called her a man, ‘Uncle Shay’. Despite stating in the same interview, in her view about the Sista Afia, Eno Barony, and Freda Rhymz beef that there should have never been any body shaming in it.

Furthermore, she revealed how Wendy Shay has been trying to stop her from becoming Fantana. Adding that, Wendy Shay did a lot to ruin her despite her lying about she(Wendy) introducing her to Rufftown records, so Ghanaians could like her.

Moreover, Fantana was also seen in an Instagram live video hitting hard on Wendy Shay.
