Stonebwoy over the years has been known for his admirable prowess in songwriting. The dancehall award winner in the past received lots of praise for his writing skills in tunes like Rude Boy love, My Name, Tomorrow, Tuffseed, and many others. Also, he even got similar remarks about many of the songs on his recent album, Anloga Junction most especially ‘Journey’ and ‘Le Gba Gbe(Alive)’.
Moreover, most of these artistic pieces from Stonebwoy won him numerous accolades at prestigious awards schemes like the VGMA and the BET awards. However, we have come across a snippet of an unreleased song of the dancehall crooner. This song according to reports reaching ichrisgh.com may be scheduled for release soon.
The song, the title of which has not yet been disclosed, saw Stonebwoy sounding as though he was using his voice to produce drum sounds as he sang. However, it sounded more of a danceable tune, though one could just not interpret what he was saying.
Meanwhile, listening to the song, in comparison with Patapaa’s chorus on Article Wan’s ‘That thing’ as well as his verse on ‘Daavi ne ba’, rings a bell. In those songs, Patapaa was heard making sounds likable to drum sounds and other sounds not even himself could explain. This gives the impression; Stonebwoy was doing a similar thing in this new song.
Therefore, this got us wondering whether Stonebwoy took inspiration from Patapaa for that unreleased song. Which sounds weird or different from any of his usual songs. Alternatively, one may also say it was just a Patapaa incarnated kind of thing, thus the ‘Scopatumanaa‘ and the like.
