Shatta Wale makes biggest Ghana music history

This comes as a major feat for Shatta Wale and for the Ghana music industry. Though not the first of its kind in Ghana, as it follows Sarkodie’s major feature with AceHood, this can be touted as the biggest so far in Ghana’s music history. That is for numerous reasons, including the fact that it was part of a major world music project, Lion King: The Gift album by one of the biggest world music superstars, Beyonce. And more so because it is also part of Beyonce‘s super historic film, Black Is King.

Moreover, it is also a big plus to Ghana’s growing prominence in the global music scene. Last year, Ghana stood tall when Sarkodie won the world’s first-ever Best International Flow at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Ghana again got a massive representation in Beyonce’s album, as it featured Shatta Wale.
