Dancehall singer, Samini after endorsing Nana Addo, joined NPP’s 2020 campaign trail. He was seen severally at NPP rallies, performing his campaign song, Kpoyaka.
Samini simply tried to hold and possibly raise the President, Nana Addo‘s hand as it is usually done at such rallies. But unfortunately for him, his hand was quickly pushed off from touching that of the president.
As seen in the video, after Samini was stopped, though he looked angered, he tried to keep his cool, but shyly stood still.
This got us thinking of the possibility that Samini was being snubbed or was just awfully being put in his rightful place.
So we ask: “was Samini being disrespected or discriminated against? or was he fairly treated?”
However, before you seek solace in Covid-19, as an excuse for this, kindly note that others were allowed to hold hands with the president in that very manner.
