After Gyakie released the remix of her Billboard-charted hit, Forever, featuring Omah Lay, many felt the remix was not necessary. Prior to the release, a few also argued her promo trip to Nigeria for the song was also needless.
It was in view of this that the singer made a tweet to address the issue, stating that:
“It’s not for everyone. Those who connect to it are the ones I made this for 💛”

Therefore instead of releasing it for everyone and later saying it’s not for everyone, Gyakie should have instead WhatsApped the song to her chosen ones.
Tweeps marred Twitter with many of such bitter comments, projecting the singer in a bad light. That is why Gyakie has apologised to Ghanaians, saying sorry to anyone who felt offended by her tweet.
“Hi good afternoon, I apologize deeply to anyone that felt offended by my earlier tweet. Mey3 very sorry. Let’s keep pushing Ghana music to the world.🇬🇭❤️”
