Afia Schwarzenegger revokes bench warrant for her arrest. Big men or God’s grace?
Afia Schwarzenegger’s arrest was imminent following her sentence to 10 days in prison by the Tema High Court. Following her sentence to a jail term, the controversial comedian was nowhere to be found.
According to reports, Afia Schwarzenegger was on the run from the police. Chairman Wontumi even placed a bounty on her head for anyone who assists the police to find her. He promised he would reward such a person with an amount of GHC 5,000.
However, it has been revealed that Afia Schwarzenegger has gotten the bench warrant for her arrest revoked. One of the convicts of the contempt case for which she was jailed, A Plus made the revelation first.
According to A Plus, Afia Schwarzenegger’s arrest bench warrant has been revoked, her lawyer told him. He took to his social media handles to make the pronouncement.
Moreover, Afia Schwarzenegger confirmed she has gotten the bench warrant revoked afterward. In a post on her Instagram handle, she posted the Coat of arms while thanking God and a certain unidentified man. She tagged him as ‘Sir’ in the initial caption but later edited it to ‘Judge’.
