Bukom Banku arrested and remanded with his son over stabbing incident.

Popular Ghanaian professional boxer, Braimah Isaac Kamoko, aka Bukom Banku has been arrested. He was arrested with his son following a stabbing incident.

The Accra Circuit Court remanded the boxer into Police custody for one week for the charge of abetment of crime. He was accused of abetting with one Prosper Quaye to stab one Ismael Quaye at Bukom, near Jamestown.

The boxer was in the dock with his son, Mustapha Kamoko for the same charge of causing damage. They both pleaded not guilty to the crime.

However, their accomplice, Prosper Quaye failed to appear before the court therefore an arrest warrant was issued for him. The court refused a bail application by the lawyer of the accused persons.

Therefore, the court presided over by Mrs Adelaide Abui Keddey, remanded them into Police custody for seven days to reappear on December 19, 2022.
