Giantheo is back in the limelight following the release of their new single, “Tommy Al Luna Park”. The band topped the Independent Charts with three hot singles back in 2023.
“Tommy Al Luna Park” is specifically dedicated to Theo’s son, Tommaso, a nine-year-old boy.
Giancarlo Prandelli and Matteo Sainaghi, a.k.a. Theo (artistically), met each other in 2003 -forming Giantheo– creating together an immediate feeling that became almost magical from the beginning.
Tommaso’s new single “Tommy Al Luna Park” is inspired by Tommaso himself and his life, as well as being based on family time on TikTok.
It is relatable and memorable, hitting anyone who has ever had the dream to visit an amusement park.
The video, essentially a dreamy car journey played out in contrasting settings which echo the child’s characteristics (directed by Mauro Cartapani), has been released and is available to watch on YouTube.
The duo competed in the Italian show “Le Lene” and entered with the song “Tortuga” which made them winners of the Festivals Show. They were featured in several television shows and festivals all over Italy.
After this achievement, they both went solo, focusing on their projects. Giancarlo Prandelli, singer, composer, artist, sound engineer, and instrumentalist, made several productions and collaborations with artists such as; Laura Pausini, Michela Coppa, Blanco, and many more.
Theo, on the other hand has also been composing rap songs since the late 80s. He also nurtures his sports career by becoming a personal trainer.
The duo joined forces again after their detachment to bring Giantheo back on its feet.
They released their first single, “Conchiglie” followed by “Catene” and several other releases that took over all Italian radio stations.
“Tommy Al Luna Park” is the duo’s new release, and it is already gaining mass attention, so I’ll urge you all to check it out on all major streaming platforms.
