Last week, Samini went for vetting to contest for the presidency of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration(GIMPA) SRC. The good news is that he has passed the vetting and is currently launching his campaign.

The veteran musician says he wants to be the SRC President of GIMPA to make a difference. As he starts his campaign, he unveils Mensah Mabel as his running mate.

Moreover, Samini launched a multipack campaign policy, consisting of his Main Policies and Supplementary policies. Notable among these policies is the Onuapa SRC Emergency Trust Fund, which seeks to provide financial support in various forms to students.

Award-winning musical diva, Gyakie confesses there is a lot of pressure on her. Her song, Forever was too big, it put a lot of pressure on her to release a bigger song.

The song went viral globally and even charted on Billboard multiple times. The remix of the song also got a massive reception. This put a lot of pressure on her to release something bigger and better.

The pressure was so strong that it almost got to her. However, she had to psyche herself up to just continue making good music. If the song is good enough it would become big.

“It got to a point when there was that pressure on me to release a song which is bigger than forever, but it didn’t get to me because I’m also doing my part of the work by recording good music and promoting it as much as I can, so obviously when you release a song which becomes very big, everyone expects the next ones to be good songs even if it’s not big.

“So I used to have that pressure, but I don’t have it anymore because I have psyched myself that if I want to drop a song so far as the music is good, I’m not supposed to be triggered to think whether to drop it or not,” Gyakie noted.

Meanwhile, she was speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM.

Black Sherif sets a record of becoming the first Ghanaian artist to hit 100 million streams on Boomplay. He chalks this historic feat as the first and the youngest to ever do it. Mind you Boomplay is Africa’s biggest music streaming platform.

COPEC noted in a press release.

Following Afia Schwarzenegger’s visit to the Nogokpo shrine, she has been flooding social media with videos and pictures about it. In light of this, the chief priest of the shrine sent her a strong warning commanding her to stop.

He made this known in a press release in which he noted:

“Nogokpo Shrine as popular and very serious Shrine is being visited by many people worldwide but as the customs demand, it is not allowed to circulate any pictures of your visitation on social media or in any public domain to create fear and panic before gods judge the matter brought. I am thereby warning Afia Schwarzenegger to stop that practice immediately”.

In order not to incur the wrath of the gods, Afia Schwarzenegger quickly deleted the videos and pictures off her social media handles. Evidently, she was saving her own life.
