Sarkodie releases a mega hip-hop project, ‘CEO Flow’ featuring America’s E-40 

In 2016, Sarkodie did magic on his version of E-40’s ‘Choices’(Yub). Sarkodie’s cover was so impressive, it literally got every music act in Ghana doing their own versions too. The multiple BET Award-winning rapper basically set a trend with his version of ‘Choices’. Which went as far as getting the recognition of the original composer of the song, E-40.

The Billboard chart-topping American rapper, E-40 in reaction to Sarkodie’s version of ‘Choices’ tweeted “Yup, He did his thing”. Fast forward to 2020, Sarkodie has featured this hip-hop legend on his latest massive hip-hop single, ‘CEO Flow’. Sarkodie must have impressed E-40 right? He officially released this mega rap project today and it is already stealing all the attention.


Funny Face rubbishes Adebayor’s unfollowing him on Instagram rejoicers “You can’t make me go back to depression”

When he broke the news yesterday about his long time best friend, Adebayor unfollowing him on Instagram, he sounded so saddened. He even rendered an apology to Adebayor, Bola Ray, and Fada Dickson for turning a deaf ear on their advice. It was evident he did that out of remorse for all that had happened in his life in recent times and the manner in which he sought to address them.

Funny Face revealed that, during his family and friends induced depression period, he was advised by the likes of Adebayor to take hold of his emotions. The advice he admitted, he did not really heed to. Which has now put him on the verge of losing his best friend, Adebayor. Funny Face made this known in a post he made yesterday.


EMY Awards Africa 2020: The full list of winners

The fifth edition of the revered annual Exclusive Men Of The Year (EMY) Awards Africa came off last night, Saturday, July 4. The father’s day related event, meant to celebrate conspicuous achievements of men in diverse fields was held virtually due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The night began with an awesome fashion display on the red carpet, with appearances from top celebrated male personalities Abeiku Santana, Clemento Suarez who came with his dad, Prince David Osei, Herold Amenyeh, Kojo Jones and Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong.

The 2020 edition of the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards marked the 20th anniversary of the inception of the awards scheme. Additionally, the major event on the world entertainment calendar also marked the 40th anniversary of its TV network, BET.

The biggest night for black artistry, BET Awards took place virtually last Sunday. Amanda Seales held onto the mic as the host, as we witnessed thrilling performances from the likes of Lil Wayne, Alicia Keys, Usher, Dababy, Megan Thee Stallion, Summer Walker, Roddy Ricch and Cloe × Halle. Moreover, for the very first time, the show was aired on CBS.


Stonebwoy eulogizes Samini, his musical godfather

Following reports of Kelvyn Boy’s attack at Ashaiman and the subsequent controversies that surrounded it. Samini sent across a strong message in his reaction to the issue. The incident, which reignited the feud between Stonebwoy and his former record label signee, Kelvyn Boy, took a legal turn at a point. Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group released a press statement, revealing intentions to settle the case in court.

However, Samini as the father of both musicians sought to intervene to ensure peace prevails. The dancehall giant in his reaction disclosed that Stonebwoy has always been his son, which automatically makes Kelvyn Boy his son too. Therefore, the feud between the two does not allow peace in his family. Due to which he then called on both of them to come and let them talk things out one last time.

Stonebwoy in the Ghanaian music scene has over the years been that artiste who always had tough skin against all odds. His car accident induced leg injury was one of those, but he managed to rise above it so easily. There were other strifes he had to deal with as a musician, and it seems in all of those he always had the touch skin to do so. No wonder he now calls himself the tough seed(Tuffseed).

Meanwhile, many were those who according to him, took his toughness for arrogance, which he seriously debunked. However, in his most recent interview on UTV’s United Showbiz with Nana Ama McBrown, Stonebwoy hinted at how he developed that tough skin.
