MTN Ghana is currently facing intense backlash from numerous customers on social media, after complaining bitterly about the alleged disappearance of their subscribed ‘Turbonet’ data.
A top Ghanaian comedian, DKB, has also joined in the backlash, taking to his social media pages to complain bitterly about the rapid depletion of his subscribed MTN Turbonet bundle.
In the viral video, DKB compared previous MTN bundle packages to the new ones. He stated that a 92GB bundle could last for about 2 months even after long streaming sessions. Shockingly, he claimed a 214GB he purchased barely 3 weeks ago was suddenly exhausted after watching a few movies online.
“How can 214GB finish in 19 days when 92GB lasted for 2 months? MTN, please explain, because this doesn’t make sense,” he questioned. DKB demanded an explanation from MTN on why he was experiencing such shortfalls with their ‘Turbonet’ subscriptions.
After DKB’s outburst in the viral video, several customers chipped in their own problems with MTN’s ‘Turbonet’ subscriptions. These complaints have reignited the discussions about transparency in the operations of various telecommunication companies in Ghana.
