Date for VGMA 2023 as organizers announce new date for the 24th VGMA.
All is set for the 24th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA). The organizers, Charterhouse released the nominations list of the 2023 VGMA recently and have started the build-up to the grand awards night.
In view of this, they have announced a new date for the awards night. Thus, contrary to the earlier announcement of May 13, 2023, as the date for the awards, it has now changed the date to May 6, 2023.
Therefore, the new date for the 2023 VGMA is Saturday, May 6, 2023, whiles the venue remains the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre(AICC). The much-anticipated awards event would be aired live on TV3 Ghana, and across Africa and the world via affiliate media platforms and social media platforms.
Moreover, this year’s VGMA Xperience Concert makes a stop at the Volta Region. The 24th VGMA Xperience Concert would be held at the Ho Sports Stadium on Saturday, 15th April 2023. It would witness live performances from the likes of Medikal and more.
Meanwhile, the 24th VGMA is produced by Charterhouse, with a media partnership from TV3 of Media General. It is proudly brought to you by Vodafone with support from KPMG and Yango.
