Lieutenant General Arnold Quainoo, a highly celebrated military high-ranking official, passed away at the age of 85 after achieving remarkable feats during his tenure of service in the Ghana Armed Forces.
Among his notable achievements include serving as the Chief of Defense Staff of the Ghana Armed Forces in succession of Flight Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings, as well as serving as the inaugural commander of the Economic Community of West African States Monitoring Group (ECOMOG).
