A viral video spotted online by iChrisgh.com captures the teenage daughter of Nana Agradaa passionately seeking an appeal by the court over her mother’s incarceration. The young girl’s words, “15 years is long. What am I to do? I need my mom”, have sparked mixed reactions across social media.
This video has reignited the plea for Agradaa’s pardon and possible release from prison. The viral video of Agradaa’s daughter caught the attention of a Ghanaian prophetess, known as Christ Queen, prompting an intercession. The prophetess called upon H.E. John Dramani Mahama to step in to facilitate the release of Evangelist Mama Pat from Nsawam Prisons, where she is currently serving jail time.
The prophetess broke down in tears as she pleaded for leniency, citing Agradaa’s vital responsibilities as a mother.
“She is a mother taking care of little children. For the sake of her children, I am pleading with you, President Mahama, to temper justice with mercy and grant her freedom,” she lamented.
Christ Queen emphasized the welfare of Agradaa’s daughter, Rihanna, and her grandchild, who is plunged into jeopardy following her absence. She went on to plead with authorities to take into consideration these mishaps to show Agradaa compassion despite legal proceedings.
While the jury remains firm on its stance to punish all lawbreakers and serve justice, the public outcry has reignited debate on the balance between serving justice and mercy in high-profile cases.
