The queen for the 2019 edition the prestigious beauty, Miss Malaika was crowned last Saturday. At the grand finale held at the National Theater, Miss Phylis Vesta Boison was crowned winner.
The first and second runner-ups were Mbord Astanga and Habiba Bint-Abdallah respectively. The 19-year old accounting student of the University of Ghana outcompeted 9 other contestants, to emerge winner of the enviable title.
Apart from the crown, Miss Phylis took home a brand new car and some awesome prizes from sponsors as part of the prize package. It was definitely a sight worth beholding as last year’s winner; Mariam Owusu-Poku handed down the title and the crown to the new queen.
Moreover, the night was undoubtedly a blissful one, as patrons were treated to exciting performances from the likes of Medikal, Adina, Dhope Nation, Kelvyn Boy amongst others.
