KNUST ranked best university in Africa, 14th in the World in Times Higher Education ranking.

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST) is now the best university in Africa and the 14th best in the world according to a recent ranking.

This is according to the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Impact Rankings 2022, where KNUST ranked 1st in Africa and 14th in the world. The ranking published on 28th April, 2022 is based on the quality of education.

The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Impact Rankings 2022 considered over 1,600 universities across 99 countries and territories. This maintains its position as the largest and most diverse university ranking in the world.

Moreover, according to the ranking, KNUST’s quality of education is unmatched in Africa, though its closest is the University of Johannesburg. Nonetheless, KNUST’s global score is 83.7%, 14th in the world whiles the University of Johannesburg’s is 77.7% and 39th in the world.
