Veteran Nigerian Actor ‘Papa Ajasco’ is dead.

Famous veteran Nigerian actor, Papa Ajasco is dead. According to multiple reports, the actor who stood in for the ‘Papa Ajasco’ character in the Papa Ajasco comic series is dead.

The popular Nollywood actor was announced dead by theater practitioner, Husseini Shaibu as reported by punchng.com.

He wrote:

“I have just been reliably informed that the ethnomusicologist, former Music Instructor with #NATIONALTROUPE and one time stand in for the ‘Papa Ajasco’ character on the popular #waleadenugaprod comic series ‘Papa Ajasco’ Mr. Femi Ogunrombi is dead,” on his Twitter handle.

The veteran actor popularly known as Papa Ajasco rose to fame for his in Wale Adenuga’s comedy series, ‘Papa Ajasco’ which featured Mama Ajasco, Pa James, Miss Pepeye, and Boy Alinco. He replaced the former Papa Ajasco character, Abiodun Ayoyinka when he pulled out.

The cause of his death is currently unknown, however, many are sad to learn of his demise. May he rest in peace.
