Date for Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2022 (VGMA 2022) finally announced – #VGMA23

The 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA) is themed ‘The People, The Culture, The Music.’ The 23rd edition of Ghana’s Biggest Music Awards event comes your way with a bigger and better show this year.

Organisers of the VGMA, Charterhouse are enthralled to announce the date for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA) 2022. They announced Friday 6th and Saturday 7th May as the dates for the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Festival Weekend. Promising you Ghana’s Biggest Music Weekend.

Moreover, as usual, the run-up to the big event begins with the big conversation on who wins what, on the Road To #VGMA23 with Chrystal Aryee. The show shows exclusively on TV3 and online on Facebook – Charterhouse Ghana. It features seasoned industry pundits in category discussions, analysis, and predictions as well as guest artists. The show has already begun, every Saturday at 5 p.m. on TV3.

The VGMA Festival Weekend

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Festival Weekend 2022 is on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th May, for Industry Awards and Public Awards respectively.

The event is happening at the Grand Arena, AICC and will be produced for broadcast on TV and Digital platforms.

The VGMA Festival Weekend will feature top-notch performances from some of Ghana’s biggest musical acts. The performance for the VGMA 2022 includes that of Sarkodie, Kidi, Black Sherif, Kuami Eugene, King Promise, Kofi Kinaata, Medikal, Fameye, Mr Drew, Camidoh, D Black, and more.

Performances from the gospel music fraternity would include that of Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, Obaapa Christy, Ohemaa Mercy, Celestine Donkor, Joyce Blessing, Gifty Osei and more.

Meanwhile, the show would be broadcasted on TV3, and DStv and streamed on the social media pages of Ghana Music Awards (Facebook) and Charterhouse Live (YouTube).
