Husband In Tears As “Benyiwaa” Of Effiewura Is FInally Laid To Rest

Mercy Little Smith, popularly known as “Benyiwaa” through the popular Ghanaian TV series “Effiewura,” has finally been laid to rest. The iconic actress gave up the ghost on December 17, 2024, after battling with a severe ailment for a long time.

Her sudden demise has left a void in the hearts of fans, colleagues, and all loved ones. “Benyiwaa” wowed the hearts of many for her role in the series Effiewura. For several years many admired her for being the strong-willed wife of Judge Koboo in the Effiewura series.

While gracing our television screens with humorous content, the actress was also a dedicated mother and wife. She is succeeded by her husband and four (4) children: Russell, Whitney, Kojo, and Wedam.

Earlier today, March 1, 2025, family and friends of the deceased actress converged at 7 Black Lagoon Street, Odorkor Tipper, to bid their final farewell to Mercy.

It was a day filled with sorrow, as everyone was seen in a mourning state. However, Mercy’s husband was spotted wailing uncontrollably as her beloved wife was laid to rest. Close friends of the widower consoled him as he continued grieving.

Mercy Little Smith is no more with us, yet her legacy endures. The numerous admirers who grew up watching her will always remember the happiness she brought with Effiewura.
