Ghanaian musician Black Sheriff has made a disclosure about what he would’ve been doing if not for music during a recent interview on The Afro Select Show.
Black Sheriff, whose rise to fame has been an inspiring story to most youth in Ghana, has revealed in a recent interview that he would’ve been selling clothes or been in the automobile spare parts business if not for his success in music.
The singer and musician, hailing from Konongo Zongo, gained widespread recognition after his 2020 single, “Money,” went viral. He went on to release “First Sermon” and “Second Sermon” in 2021, making him famous in Ghana and beyond.
His lyricism, which is mostly about his struggles, social problems, and ambitions, earned him the alias “Ghetto Preacher.” He earned this name because his songs resonate deeply with most youth.
The rise of Black Sheriff to the pinnacle of Ghanaian music is a testament to his resilience; he uses every opportunity given to recount how he struggled to achieve greatness.
