Justin Bieber gets face paralysis, cancels shows

Justin Bieber gets face paralysis, cancels shows for medical treatment.

Pop music superstar, Justin Bieber’s face is paralysed partially as we speak. The singer announced this on Friday in a video posted on his Instagram handle.

The partial facial paralysis is caused by Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. It is a disorder that affects the facial nerves near the ear, paralysing half of the face. Also caused by the Chicken Pox virus, it may ‘reactivate’ itself after several years of getting chicken pox.

Justin Bieber’s case is no different as the virus attacked his right ear and eye’s nerves, rendering them paralysed.

Moreover, unable to move half of his face, Justin Bieber said in the video that’s why most of his shows were cancelled.

He said “This is pretty serious, as you can see,” “I wish this wasn’t the case, but obviously my body is telling me I’ve got to slow down.”

Meanwhile, speaking of recovery, Justin Bieber noted he is using his time off to rest and “get back to 100 per cent.” Also, he is doing facial exercises to get his face back to normal though he doesn’t know how long it will take.
