The journey of true leadership often begins with a heart dedicated to service, and for Miss Bernice Mensah, popularly known as Queen Damtewaa, that journey continues to inspire many across Ghana. At just 23 years old, the vibrant and purpose-driven young woman from the Ashanti Region is already making remarkable strides in academics, leadership, pageantry, and humanitarian work.
Currently a proud student of Christian Service University, Bernice proudly served as the Miss Christian Service University 2025 Queen, a role through which she demonstrated grace, intelligence, confidence, and a deep commitment to positive impact. Her ability to communicate fluently in English, Twi, and Fante has enabled her to connect effortlessly with people from diverse backgrounds, making her a strong voice for empowerment and inspiration.
Bernice’s educational journey reflects dedication and excellence. She began her academic foundation at A.M.E. Zion JHS, continued her secondary education at Amaniampong Senior High School, and is currently pursuing higher education while shaping a future rooted in leadership and purpose.
Beyond the spotlight of pageantry, Queen Damtewaa is passionately committed to humanitarian service. She is the founder of the impactful “A Gift of Hope Initiative,” a project dedicated to spreading kindness, supporting the less privileged, and inspiring hope within communities. Through this initiative, she continues to touch lives and encourage positive change among young people and vulnerable groups.
For Bernice, the crown symbolizes far more than beauty and recognition. It represents responsibility, compassion, and service to humanity. In her own words:
