Popular Nigerian film star, Ini Edo, has landed herself in hot waters after gracing the 40th birthday party of Ghanaian millionaire businessman, Richard Nii Armah Quaye. The actress, having buried her late father only a day before the event, was looking all happy and glamorous as she attended the event.
The actress joined colleague Nollywood stars such as Rita Dominic, Toke Makinwa, Ramsey Nouah, Fredrick Nuamah, and many others who were present at the event to celebrate with the Ghanaian millionaire businessman.
However, social media netizens are questioning Ini Edo for her appearance at the event amid mourning for her late father, who was buried only a day before attending the event.
Ghanaian blogger and social media critic took to his X (formerly Twitter) page to criticize the actress for her unaccustomed act of attending birthday parties in spite of mourning her late father.
“Ini Edo buried her dad just yesterday and was all teary. Less than 24 hours later, she’s on a plane to Accra to attend RNAQ40 birthday party. All the tears were never real? Serious disregard for the dead for a few dollars!” Bongo Ideas wrote.
