The former Minister of Finance, Kenneth Nana Yaw Ofori Atta has been officially declared wanted by the Office of Special Prosecutor for multiple charges involving corruption.
The Office of Special Prosecutor has officially released a poster of the Former Finance Minister compelling the public to aid in his arrest by providing information about his whereabouts.
In a press statement made by Kissi Agyabeng, the Special Prosecutor declared Ken Ofori Atta a wanted fugitive after allegedly failing to honor several invites from the OSP.
He went on further to dismiss claims about the involvement of the OSP in the recent raid by unknown armed personnel at Ken Ofori Atta’s Cantoments residence.
The official poster released by the OSP stated, “This suspect is wanted to answer charges in respect of several cases including Strategic Mobilisation-GRA Contract, Termination of ECG-BXC contract, National Cathedral payments, Ambulance Procurement contract and Tax Refund Account Utilisation.”
The OSP has reaffirmed its commitment to get hold Mr Ken Ofori Atta by any means possible to answer questions about the ongoing investigations.
