Peller Apologizes to Nigerians In New Video

Nigeria’s top teen streamer, popularly known as Peller, has faced severe backlash from his online audience after making certain offensive statements about Nigerians. The streamer allegedly called out Nigerians not to bring their nonsensical rants to TikTok but to take them to the market.

This offensive statement by Peller did not sit well with most of his online audience, causing him to lose nearly 900k followers on both TikTok and Instagram.

Consequently, Peller, in a recent video, has rendered apologies to his audience, claiming his utterances were misunderstood by many, hence the backlash.

In the video he stated, “You people misunderstood me and my girlfriend, Jarvis. When I said you should go to the market, I didn’t mean it that way. I’m only concerned about my source of income. There are a lot of guys that TikTok has changed their lives, and TikTok is paying their bills, and if you continue ranting on TikTok, they might ban it in Nigeria. Please, you should focus more on the government instead of facing me. I was misunderstood.”

In spite of Peller’s apology, several audiences have disregarded it, stating that it is not a proper way of rendering an apology. They claimed that Peller was being pompous, trying to justify his actions and utterances.
