Rihanna eulogises Tems songwriting skills on Black Panther 2 song, Lift Me Up.
After more than six years, Rihanna makes a comeback to music with an original score for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The soundtrack, for the much-anticipated movie, is titled, ‘Lift Me Up’.
Fans have been yearning for Rihanna’s new song and it seems it was worth all the wait. The Fenty Beauty boss has been getting a lot of praise for her spectacular vocal delivery on the song.
Moreover, the song was written by Nigerian music superstar, Tems, who is also loudly been applauded for her songwriting skills. She is being greatly commended for bringing to bare all the emotions that would be felt in the movie into the song.
Further, Rihanna also attested to Tems’ songwriting skills. In a comment on her Nigerian sister’s Instagram post, Rihanna said she loves Tems’ pen game (songwriting).
“It’s the pen for me. Love to you sistren,” she commented.
Meanwhile, the world premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever took place yesterday, 27th October 2022. The movie will now be out in cinemas on November 11, 2022.
