Shootings at Islamic SHS, students in critical condition due police shootings.

By way of breaking news, there was a shooting incident at the Islamic SHS in Kumasi. The students were shot at by the Ghana police during a protest.

The students were protesting against the high rate of accidents on their roads when the police began shooting at them. According to reports, there have been numerous accidents on their roads due to a lack of speed ramps.

Therefore, the students were protesting after several calls on the local government to construct the speed ramp proved futile. Unarmed, they were merely demanding speed ramps to curtail the number of accidents on their roads only to be attacked by the police.

Meanwhile, currently about thirty students, largely girls, are currently in bad condition. Some are shot and injured and others fainted due to the shock.
