Soul Train Awards 2022 Full Winners List, Tems makes history.

The 2022 edition of the Soul Train Awards took place over the weekend. It was hosted by actor and comedian Deon Cole and aired on BET and BET Her on Saturday, November 27th, 2022.

Rihanna’s ‘Lift Me Up’ songwriter, Tems made history at the Soul Train Awards 2022. The Nigerian singer becomes the first African to win the Soul Train Awards Best New Artist category. She beat competition from her Nigerian brothers, CKay and Fireboy DML and Steve Lacy, Coco Jones, Dixson, and Muni Long.

Also winning big on the night was Beyonce, winning multiple awards. She won the coveted album of the year for the fourth time with Renaissance, Song of the Year for the third time with “Break My Soul,” and Best Collaboration for “Make Me Say It Again, Girl,” a pairing with Ronald Isley & The Isley Brothers.
