‘Nominate’ hitmaker, Stonebwoy in a recent tweet has seemingly thrown a subtle jab at his arch-rival cum good friend, Shatta Wale. In a rather odd tweet by Stonebwoy, his comment indirectly suggested that, Shatta Movement (SM) fans are thieves.
Moreover, Stonebwoy made that comment under a post that showed a thief being manhandled. The man weeping in great pain was according to the post, was a thief caught at Teshie. He was being made to carry very heavy metals as punishment for committing the crime.

However, the dancehall BET award winner, Stonebwoy right under that post commented this:

That tweet could be seen as a harmless comment, because the said thief actually had an SM tattoo on his left chest, just as Stonebwoy wanted to communicate.
However, it could also be seen as a denigratory comment against the SM fans. This is so because the tweet could also be interpreted to suggest that, SM fans are thieves. So he was just confirming that they are actually thieves with the fact that the thief had an SM tatoo. A shred of evidence that he is a Shatta Wale fan, an SM member. Thereby confirming that SM fans all alike are thieves.

Meanwhile, many people were shocked seeing Stonebwoy’s tweet, but the SM fans who were indirected being denigrated did not take it likely with Stonebwoy at all.
Stonebwoy received various levels of insults, accusations and warnings as a result. Some of these angry SM fans tweeps even went as far as accusing Stonebwoy of trying to use the opportunity to promote his recently released Anloga Junction album.
