American hip-hop sensation Jah Rule and his wife have recently been spotted in Ghana for the commissioning of a 6-unit classroom block in Nuaso, located in the Eastern region of Ghana.
As part of his philanthropic endeavours, the American music star, in partnership with an NGO known as Pencils of Promise, constructed a 6-unit classroom block at the St. John’s Anglican Basic School in Nuaso.
In addition to helping Ghana’s educational system, this endeavour is a means for the rapper to give back to the African community.
After the initiation of the project, its improvement was steady, hence its completion within a one-year duration.
While the project was still in progress, Jah Rule shared photos on his social media pages with the caption, “My school in Ghana is looking beautiful. Can’t wait until it’s finished…. Sending my love and a big thank you to Pencils of Promise for giving me the opportunity to help change lives.”
The six-unit classroom block at Nuaso has currently been successfully commissioned by Jah Rule and his wife, Aisha Atkins, and will contribute to raising the local educational standards.
This important infrastructural project by Jah Rule demonstrates the roles celebrities and public figures play in nation-building. With collective efforts by these prominent individuals, Ghana will see massive improvements, which will help ease tension in the government.
