American rapper, Chance The Rapper was in Ghana for about a week. He took the opportunity to visit his roots, check out projects by his Ghanaian grandparents and more.
One major thing is also did was visit the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. He went with Vic Mensa. However, during his courtesy call to the president, he did something wrong.
According to Ghana’s all-time best blogger, Ameyaw Debrah what Chance The Rapper did was culturally unacceptable. But what did the rapper do wrong?
Chance The Rapper wore a cap during his meeting with Nana Addo. Ameyaw Deborah commenting on a picture of the rapper greeting the president, schooled him on Ghana’s culture, advising him to remove his cap next time.
Dear @chancetherapper next time please don't wear a cap when you meet an elderly person in Ghana. Culturally we say it's not cool! pic.twitter.com/WkcyuIDCVV
