It’s a brand new year and all we wish you are the splendor of a new beginning.

What’s a better way to kick start the new year, than with an update on the ongoing Miss Yaa Asantewaa beauty pageant. The search for Ghana’s representative for Miss Planet International has started, as contestants gear up to undertake various tasks. Now, let me run you through an insight into how it is all going to happen.

First, they will be embarking on a jungle search, to find the Golden stool. The delegates will be divided into two groups, Water and Plant to set on a journey into the jungle to find the hidden stool. The group that finds it’s way to the stool first, will be declared winners of the task. The jungle search is scheduled to take place on the 4th of January.

Secondly, there would also be Talent Hunt and Project Presentation afterward. Each delegate will be dared to exhibit their talent, whilst we lookout for the most amazing talent among them.

Sarkodie is the only artist to really reach the top, globally – Akon

American based African richest award-winning musician, Akon has named Ghana’s biggest Internationally acclaimed music act. Sarkodie was the name he mentioned as the only musician in Ghana worthy of that title.

The Konvict Music boss made these statements during a conference he had at the Kimpinski hotel as part of his visit to Ghana for the year of return. Akon adds his voice to the many, who have already accorded the multiple BET award winner, Sarkodie that global honor.

He explained Sarkodie is the only Ghanaian music act who has his music dominant in the global music scene.

He further noted that he does not accord any such honor to any artist just because of how big the person’s name is. He looks at how dominant the person’s music is, globally and Sarkodie is the only Ghanaian who has reached that height.

He disclosed, ” That has been the toughest question I’m asked every country I go… I don’t know anyone, I just know a good song that reaches the top. The only one honestly from Ghana that has reached the top really is Sarkodie”

Furthermore, he affirmed that he actually signed Sarkodie onto his Konvict music record label, refuting claims that, the rapper lied about being signed onto the label.

With a convoy awaiting his arrival, the award-winning rapper touched down around 5 pm this evening. Upon arrival, he was treated to a beautiful Ghanaian drumming display as he walked his way to the convoy awaiting him.

Also, he was gracefully welcomed by a number of his fans who were at the airport waiting for him to arrive. Moreover, the media were also present to cover the graceful moment.

The website went live on the 24th of October, 2019 and was announced to be on test run for the next three months. This Christmas eve, 24th December 2019 which also happens to be the birthday of iChris, marked the climax of the pronounced test run period.

Launching full operations implies that, we are now kickstarting work as a full-fledged website. However, we will continue to expand and explore various aspects of our industry.
