Chris Attoh finally opens about his wife’s death.

It has been five months since the spouse of internationally acclaimed Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh was shot dead. The actor’s wife, Bettie Jennifer was shot to death in the US and though investigations were still ongoing, he resolved to remain mute on the matter.

However, Chris Attoh has finally broken the long chain of silence with a recent Instagram post, though it has been a long while since he last made a post. The actor in the post opened up about the pain and sadness he had to endure following the sudden demise of his wife.

The exceptionally talented Ghanaian musical act, Trigmatic make mention of the immense efforts he was putting into producing his forth studio album some months back. He even disclosed of how he had to sell his car in other to continue production of the album.

But finally, it looks like all just worked out well as he had planned, as he has unveiled the much awaited album. The album dubbed The Eighth Element is a fully highlife centered album, consisting of 13 tracks.

The album had compositions from Karina Suwalski, Aka Blay, Sena, Prince Jadon, Dela Botri, Nii, O.T, Kwame Jnr, Cyndric and Bismark. And with great instrumentation from some of the most celebrated highlife icons, the album also features a considerable number of top rated artistes. The likes of Wiyaala, Raquel, A.I., Prince (BukBak), Manifest and Akan had features on the the album.

It is all joy and positivity at the camp of celebrated Nigerian songstress, Yemi Alade as they have made the move to submit ‘Woman of steel’ for consideration for the 2020 Grammys. The ‘Johnny’ hit maker’s most widely patronized project piece, the Woman of Steel album will be put through a voting process by the Recording Academy to be considered for the ‘Best World Music Album’ category.

The 2020 Grammy awards is slated for January 26 and if things turn out well, Africa will have a representation from Nigeria. With high hopes of sailing through for a nomination, the ‘Oh my gosh’ hit maker took to her Instagram handle to break the news whilst beseeching for support.

Apart from being accused of being poor before signing onto Zylofon music, top celebrated Ghanaian vocalist, Becca had other accusations leveled against her. The now Mrs. Tobi was also rumored to have landed her contract to join the Zylofon music record label, through an amorous affair with the boss.

These claims the singer in a recent interview, clarified were baseless and were false. She explained that, her relationship with her former boss at Zylofon music, Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM 1) was nothing more than a working relationship.

The ‘biibi ba’ rapper in the same interview refuted claims of he being a homosexual.  Despite his categorical denial of being gay, his earlier statements sparked speculations on social media about his sexuality.

However, Kofi Mole in a recent Instagram post shared a photo of himself and a little boy, whom he called his son. But considering the fact that, he has never mentioned of his son anywhere before this, it is surely a bid to refute rumors about his sexuality. 

Meanwhile, though there currently are no proves the boy is actually his, all indications show he was actually being truthful about the boy being his son, according to trusted sources.

Making more and more money has now become the side job for Grammy award winning vocalist, Rihanna. It is now an open secret, she is raking in huge sums as she has endeavored to partake in various ventures, with the most recent one being her maiden visual autobiography.

The 504-page book, consisting of over a 1,000 intimate life moments and career highlight photos was produced in partnership with Phaidon. She calls it Rihanna on social media yesterday. The book when released will be her first ever visual autobiography.

The ‘Adonai’ hit-maker was highly credited, for positively projecting Ghana and Africa to the world in his speech at the recent BETs.

Well, it looks like the rapper had even a lot more up his sleeves, as he has dropped some thought striking bars on the 2019 BET hip-hop cypher. Sarkodie in a rap session with his colleague nominee, Kalash touched on issues ranging from the skin bleaching menace to Africa’s quest for total emancipation.

Multiple BET award winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has now set what is debatably the biggest record of his entire career as a rapper. The ‘bleeding’ hit maker lifted the flag of Ghana so high at the 2019 BET Hip-hop Awards, winning the newly created Best International Flow category. Sarkodie making his third BET appearance adds this award, as his second BET award after winning the Best International Act: Africa category in 2012.

This great feat, we could say is Sarkodie’s highest achievement in his career now. Taking into consideration, he now goes into the records of history, as the very first artiste to win the newly created Best International Flow category. In addition, he won the nod beating stiff competition from Ghetts (UK), Nasty C (South Africa), Falz (Nigeria), Tony Lanez (Canada), Kalash (France) and Lil Simz to emerge winner of this coveted title.

It is in light of this and other equally distinguished factors, that we could accord Sarkodie’s first ever win at the 2019 BET Hip-hop awards, the greatest record of his career currently. Moreover, he would also double by way of records, as the African rapper with the most appearances at the BETs, with the most wins too of two awards.

The fact that ‘Ohemaa’ hit-maker, Kuami Eugene was once singing gospel keeps popping up time and time again. Many still find it difficult to accept why he should leave gospel, just to sing secular music. Others insist his voice is just perfect for a gospel musician, so why should he stop. It is in this light, that he had to speak to a similar question in an interview on Adom FM’s Work and Happiness.

He answered to a question of why does he seem to be only good at making secular music, when his voice is equally excellent for singing gospel. Kuami Eugene explained that, he sees what he does now a channel through which he spreads God’s word. He added that, his career gives him the a larger audience, which is pertinent to reaching out to people with the gospel and he has even done it with his ‘Wish me well’ his smash hit single.

Furthermore, he explained that preaching God’s message does not only mean holding a bible or singing only gospel or being a chorister and he preaches with is music even better than what those people do.

He stated: “I’m one of the top five most viewed internet artistes in Ghana, Angela has 14 million views and ‘Wish Me Well’ has 11 million so I have the audience and I think I’m preaching God’s message through my music better than a bible holder or a chorister,”

Answering to a question about his religious status, he said:

“I am a strict churchgoer and member of Christ Congregation of the Presbyterian Church but I go to church whenever I get the time,”
