Donald Trump Launches “Project Homecoming”, Giving Out $1,000 for Self Deportation

In a major announcement, US President Donald Trump has reportedly signed an executive order launching “Project Homecoming,” the first federal self-deportation program aimed at speeding up the country’s mass deportation exercise.

This initiative offers illegal immigrants in the US a $1,000 token as well as full coverage of travel expenses if they are willing to voluntarily depart the United States for their home countries.

Illegal immigrants who fail to adhere to this new initiative by the US government will suffer severe consequences, such as heavy fines or imprisonment.

The Department of Homeland Security revealed in the news that illegal immigrants can voluntarily turn themselves in to be deported from the United States via an app called ‘CBP.’ Such people will be deprioritized for detention and forceful deportation by immigration law enforcement officers.
