Eno Barony wins Best Female Rapper in Africa, full list of AFRIMMA 2020 winners

For the first time in history, AFRIMMA had to be held virtually. The 7th edition of the annual African music awards event, which celebrates music’s best within the diaspora came off yesterday in Dallas, Texas.

The event was hosted Tashara Parker as it was broadcasted virtually accross Africa and the world. The AFRIMMA 2020 saw performances from Master KG, Rema, Soraia Ramos, Fally Ipupa, Gaz Mawete, Eddy Kenzo, Nadia Nakai and a dance by the dance king Poco Lee.

Moreover, the biggest award winner for the night was South Africa‘s Master KG, who snagged four awards, including the coveted Artist of The Year Award.

However, it seems Ghana lost out on almost all nominations but one. Super talented rapper, Eno Barony won Best Female Rap Act, the only award for Ghana on the night. Check out the full list of AFRIMMA 2020 winners below.
