Ghana Tops USA Migrant Deportation List

The man of the moment, Donald J. Trump, the current president of the United States of America, has become a publicly talked-about figure for quite some time now. In his race for the presidency, he campaigned strongly to hold a mass deportation exercise when he assumed office.

As a man of his word, after being sworn into office on the 20th of January, 2025, he emphasized his earlier statement about the mass deportation of illegal migrants in the United States.

What seemed like a joke at first has now become a reality as several military troops have been deployed to assist in the exercise and reinforce border security. Several dozens of military planes have also been deployed to help in the transportation of illegal migrants in the USA.

Several Ghanaians in the USA, “Borgars” are in hot waters as a large number of them are going to be deported. In a recent post by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Ghana came first on the list of deportation list with an enormous body count of about 6,200 illegal migrants.

Countries like Egypt, Guinea, Georgia, Romania, Senegal, and many others also made it to the list.

However, what is more surprising about this is that our sister nation, Nigeria, was not included in the list. Meanwhile, Nigeria and Ghana are like siblings who appear together every time.
