Ghana’s and Morocco’s authorities have reached a bilateral agreement to waive all travel requirements between the two countries.
This move by both parties will help enhance diplomatic and economic growth by ensuring seamless travel between Ghana and Morocco. This move will also ensure the efficient exchange of goods and services between the two nations without hindrance.
Ghana’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, revealed that the agreement will be submitted to the respective parliaments of both nations for validation. Ghana and Morocco have also reached an agreement to cooperate in agribusiness, tourism, and security.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa’s meeting with Morocco’s ambassador to Ghana, Imane, will help strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Ghana and Morocco’s cooperation will set a precedent for other African countries looking to reduce travel restrictions and boost efficient, unhindered trade across the continent.
