Madina Akuure Yahaya donates to KNUST Obuasi food bank
KNUST SRC Women’s Commissioner hopeful, Madina Akuure Yahaya donated to the KNUST Obuasi SRC food bank. On Monday, 27th June, 2022, she made a purposeful journey to the KNUST Obuasi campus. She went to donate in support of the campus’s food bank initiative.
The initiative that was instituted to support needy students with relief items needed donors. That is why Madina Akuure Yahaya thought it wise to donate in support of the initiative to sustain it.
The donation she made included food items like bags of rice, mackerels and sardines, Milo and Nido. It also included some sanitary items like toothpaste, detergents, soaps, sanitary pads and toilet rolls.

Moreover, the benevolent gesture was gratefully received by the SRC president of the campus, H.E. Abban Stephen. His women’s commissioner, Vanessa Denkyi aided the donation process at the SRC office.
Meanwhile, before leaving the campus Madina Akuure Yahaya got the chance to interact with some of the students. She took the opportunity to listen to some of the concerns of the female students on the campus, who she seeks to represent when elected.
