The Accra Circuit Court fines Shatta Wale GHC 2,000 for faking his gunshot attack last October. The dancehall singer has finally been sentenced after falsely claiming to have been shot months ago.
The ‘One Don’ hitmaker pleaded guilty to charges of publication of false news. The presiding judge, Emmanuel Essandoh pronounced judgement to that effect.
This may be the end of the incident which led to Shatta Wale’s arrest and his subsequent release on bail. However, Shatta Wale would be jailed for 3 months if he fails to pay the fine.
