Barely two days ago, award-winning actress, Salma Mumin took to her Instagram handle to vent out her anger with MTN Ghana over their MTN Mobile Money(MoMo) service. The actress disclosed that an amount of GH¢ 10,000, which she claimed was in her MoMo wallet had been removed by MTN.
However, surprisingly Salma later took down her post without giving any reason why she had to so. Due to this, MTN Ghana, upon launching an investigation into her claims, has finally issued a statement.

MTN Ghana, in their statement, revealed Salma Mumin’s claims were absolutely false, as no MTN Staff has stolen her money as she alleged. They explained that unlike what the actress said in her Instagram post, there was no such money in her MoMo Merchant wallet and she can admit to that fact, which was why she had to delete the post after being confronted.
Therefore, MTN Ghana declared Salma Mumin’s post as false and misleading. The statement further informed her to immediately apologise to MTN within an ultimatum of 24 hours to avoid being slapped with a lawsuit.
