Evangelist Mama Pat, also known as Nana Agradaa, is rumoured to be on the brink of losing her ministry, Heaven Way Church, following her 15-year jail sentence.
Nana Agradaa was slapped with a 15-year jail term by an Accra Circuit Court on July 3, 2025, after she was found guilty of charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by false pretence.
Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has reportedly frozen her bank account as investigations into money laundering through her popular “sika gari” scam strategy.
Authorities have also alleged that her church, Heaven Way Church, was used as a front to exploit church members financially, prompting the freeze of her accounts.
Amid the undying legal battle, the Christian Council is said to be in the process of reviewing the suitability of the church’s continued operation.
Even though Nana Agradaa remains incarcerated at Nsawam Prisons, her husband, Angel Asiamah, has taken over to manage the church’s operation. However, the continued operation of Heaven Way Church hangs on a thin thread as investigations are still ongoing.
