Zonda Tec Ghana Limited has shown its dedication to the country by donating 60 brand-new Great Wall Poer pickup trucks and 20 motorbikes to the Ghana Police Service.
The Minister of Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mubarak, officially handed over the vehicles on May 13, 2025. This donation aims to boost police operations as Ghana moves towards a 24-hour economy.
Security is super important as businesses start running around the clock, and this donation comes at a crucial time.
It will help police respond more quickly to emergencies and increase their presence on the streets, which is key for keeping everyone feeling safe, no matter the hour.
What’s really cool is that these vehicles were assembled right here in Ghana at Zonda Tec’s modern facility. This supports local industry and shows that Ghana can produce quality vehicles.
Madam Yang Yang, the CEO of Zonda Tec, shared her pride in this contribution and her commitment to supporting both industry and security in the country.
Minister Mubarak also talked about setting up a new special police unit to provide security for workers and businesses in the 24-hour economy.
This team will ensure everyone feels secure at any time, helping businesses thrive. The addition of these vehicles is set to make a real difference.
The collaboration between Zonda Tec and the Ghana Police Service shows how the private sector can help the nation grow.
