Ghanaian dancehall artis, Shatta Wale has once again been in the trends after his much-talked-about song “On God” made it to the Billboard Chart, sparking an uproar on social media.

Shatta Wale’s “On God”, released about two (2) years ago, had about 11 million views on YouTube, but after his performance at Vybz Kartel’s “Freedom Street Concert,” his views skyrocketed above 12 million.

Many social media users expressed their displeasure about Shatta’s song choice at the just-ended show in Jamaica. The song lineup included Mansa Musa featuring Vybz Kartel, On God, and Already featuring Beyonce.

The song, “On God,” which brought him so many backlashes from social media users, has now put him on a global scale, as the single made it to the Billboard Chart.
